Part 3 — GME — The Tendieman (Comes Back)

I’ll try to give you tangible recommendations in this irregular posting. One of them is Adam Townsend. If you don’t follow him- your loss. His predictions are fire. His guests are fire. His advice is fire. One of the things he says is KEEP A DIARY. WRITE IT DOWN.

If you get nothing else from this, follow Adam. You’re welcome.

This is hard for me. But I’m trying. I DM’d him and he sent me the form he fills out every day to journal the day.

So today’s one of those days.

GME is back.

About 3 p.m., I’m checking on my charts and see GME start to go full tilt. I call my friend and we spend the next 70? minutes on the phone watching the GME rocket launch again. It’s currently sitting after hours right at $149. It was up 100%+ on the day and another 70% after hours. So far.

As it was rocketing, I just started trying to buy stuff. I ended up with 2 sets of spreads, and 3 crazy lotto ticket options, on top of 300 shares I had. I learned my lesson from last time and already entered closing positions for the shares ($500 strike — feel it in my soul — I may look genius or like an idiot but that’s what I feel). I also decided to let the spreads ride this time. I won’t mess with rolling them. I’ll hold the 3 calls (2 $300 and 1 $480 as lottos). The calls cost next to nothing and expire in two days. They only matter if we get a TRUE Taleb level million sigma black swan — we might!

But here’s the thing. Fuckery (sorry — that’s the right name) has already started! Reddit crashed — the whole site. And GME was halted twice, INCLUDING the last maybe 20 minutes into after hours.

I’m writing it down. I’ve got my exists in mind. I’ll be thrilled if I hit max gain/pain on these. If not, I put only a small amount in. But we’re about to start the second game of the double header.

Let’s go.

Edit — I did delete a link I got fooled on from a satire site. Dang. Those things are tricky.
